With its yellow-green, golden shimmering leaves and impressive 25 cm diameter funnel, this Neoregelia is not only a dream for bromelia collectors, but also for strawberry frogs, which like to lay their eggs in the water-storing funnel. As a sun-loving plant, it should ideally be placed in the upper third of the terrarium so that it receives enough light.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Location/light requirements: bright, without direct sunlight
- Substrate: tied to Xaxim or in peat-free potting soil with a low pH value and good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 18-26° C (day)
- Watering: when tied up, spray approx. once a week (avoid leaves or allow to dry well!), otherwise only water moderately when the substrate begins to dry, using lukewarm water with little lime. Avoid waterlogging at all costs. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, use a humidifier or place it in the terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: Fertilize only moderately every 4-5 weeks with diluted liquid fertilizer.
- Avoid draughts.
- If the plant is not mounted, repot about every 2-3 years when the soil is densely rooted.
