Lepanthes fimbriata ist eine sehr schöne Art die ihren Ursprung in Südamerika und zwar in Peru,Ecuador und Bolivien hat. Die Blüten bildet sie auf dem Blatt. In Höhenlagen von 1300 bis 2200 Meter ist sie im Nebelwald zu finden. In Terrarien oder Orchideenvitrinen sollte sie im Topf oder aufgebundem mit Sphagnummoos gehalten werden. Sie benötigt temperierte Temperaturen und blüht mehrmals im Jahr.
