Seeing its breathtaking flowers, which bloom profusely in yellow, white and pink and resemble primroses in shape, it is easy to guess where the Dendrobium primulinum got its name from. In the wild, it grows as an epiphyte on deciduous trees and therefore prefers to be kept in a mounted form.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that corresponds to the product photos in terms of size, shape and coloring.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Location/light requirements: semi-shady to bright, but avoid direct sunlight
- Substrate: mounted on Xaxim or in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 20-23 °C (day), 15-18 °C (night)
- Watering: Spray regularly when mounted, but allow the plant to dry out well. Otherwise water 1-2 times a week when the upper substrate layers begin to dry. Only use lukewarm water with a low lime content. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, use a humidifier or place it in the terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: Only fertilize moderately every 1-2 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer during the growth period.
- The plant should be well supplied with water and fertilizer from the beginning of the growing season and kept a little drier and cooler from September onwards to encourage flower production in spring.
