This orchid prefers a warm environment and should be cultivated epiphytically. It blooms with purple flowers. It grows very well on the xaxim back wall in the terrarium or on an epiphyte branch. Ideal for dendrobat terrariums, chameleon terrariums, gecko terrariums. It blooms several times a year and is insensitive, can be cultivated a little drier. We recommend placing it in the upper third of the terrarium. A slightly drier corner is ideal for the growth of the plant.

This beautiful hybrid of the two species Dendrobium bracteosum and Dendrobium laevifolium captivates mainly by its breathtaking flowers in red and purple tones, which it produces several times a year if well cared for. Since it grows in nature as an epiphyte on trees, it prefers to be kept in a mounted form and provides real colorfulness in the terrarium.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- Habitat/Light requirements: partial shade to bright, avoid direct sunlight.
- Substrate: tied up on xaxim or in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 20-26° C (day), 17-19° C (night)
- Watering: Spray regularly when attached, but allow plant to dry out well. Otherwise, water 1-2 a week when the upper substrate layers begin to dry. Use only lukewarm water with low lime content. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: needs high humidity, use humidifier or place in terrarium.
- Nutrient addition: fertilize moderately every 2 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer only during the growing season.
- Ensure good ventilation of the terrarium to avoid fungal infestation.
