Ben’s Jungle Collembola Food – Premium Special Feed for Explosive Springtail Reproduction

A stable springtail (Collembola) population is the heart and soul of any functioning bioactive terrarium. As an indispensable cleanup crew, they keep the setup clean by consuming mold, food waste, and feces, while simultaneously serving as a highly nutritious live food source for dart frogs, juvenile reptiles, and invertebrates.
With Ben’s Jungle Collembola Food, you get a specially formulated springtail feed that I have personally developed and successfully tested in our own breeding facilities over many years. It delivers the exact nutrients your breeding cultures need for maximum vitality.

The Unbeatable Advantages at a Glance:

• Explosive Reproduction: The finely tuned recipe heavily boosts the reproduction rate of your springtails. Your cultures will grow significantly faster, denser, and more stable.
• Highly Mold-Resistant: Unlike conventional food sources (such as oatmeal or pure baker's yeast), our Collembola Food does not mold quickly in the humid environment of breeding boxes. This keeps the breeding substrate hygienic and prevents the culture from crashing.
• Optimal Nutrient Density: Packed with high-quality proteins and essential vitamins, your springtails become a true nutrient bomb ("gut-loading") – perfect before feeding them to your terrarium animals.

Feeding Recommendation:

Depending on the size of your springtail culture, sprinkle a small pinch of the food directly onto the breeding substrate (e.g., breeding soil or horticultural charcoal) every few days. Only feed as much as the animals can fully consume within 24 to 48 hours.
