Hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit wird gut vertragen, Staunässe sollte vermieden werden. Im Winter können diese Seidenblumengewächse (Asclepiadaceae) zwischen 15°C und 20°C gehalten werden. Verwenden Sie Sukkulentendünger nach Gebrauchsanweisung. Caudex bildende Arten kommen mit längeren Trockenperioden besser zurecht als krautige Arten. Im Frühjahr und Sommer wird wöchentlich gegossen, im Winter alle 2-4 Wochen. Je dünnblättriger die Pflanzen sind, desto mehr Wasser benötigen sie, man kann diese auch nach kürzerem Abstand vorsichtig wässern.
