- Location/light requirements: Partial shade to light, ideally avoid midday sun
- Substrate: high-quality, well-drained potting soil, ensuring drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 24-26° C (day), 16-20° C (night), do not allow to cool below 10° C
- Watering: Keep the substrate moist. In hot, dry summers, water up to twice a day, but avoid waterlogging at all costs. Water less frequently in winter.
- Humidity: Requires humidity, spray regularly with low-lime water (leaves should be allowed to dry afterwards!). Avoid hot air.
- Addition of nutrients: In spring/summer approx. every 2 weeks with liquid fertilizer.
- Should be repotted approx. every 2 years.
- Avoid draughts to prevent the leaves from tearing. Remove dust from the leaves regularly with a slightly damp cloth.
