In Asian countries, the Pachira Aquatica is considered a lucky charm, which has given it the nickname lucky chestnut. From its thickened trunk, which can store water well, it can be seen that it is related to the baobab tree. In the wild it can grow up to 2 meters high, but in culture as a houseplant or in a terrarium it remains correspondingly smaller. This particularly decorative variety of the pachira with variegated leaves is not found everywhere on the market and is therefore sought after by plant collectors.
