Schöne Platystele die ihr Verbreitungsgebiet in Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica und Peru hat. Diese Miniaturorchidee wächst in der Natur an Baumstämmen und Ästen auf kahler Rinde die mit Moos bedeckt sind in wirklich feuchtem Tieflandregenwald. Sie hält sich nur mit ihren Luftwurzeln an den Ästen und Stämmen der Bäume fest. Im Terrarium, Paludarium, Orchidarium oder Gewächshaus wächst sie daher sehr gut auf Xaxim ( Baumfarn ) aufgebunden. Sie erhalten auch eine aufgebundene Pflanze. Ideal auch zum bepflanzen von Terra Base, Biorb Air und Wabikusa.
