Rare, very beautiful Selaginella that is ideal for the substrate in rainforest terrariums. You will receive a rooted plant. It likes a shady location in a warm and humid terrarium.

This moss fern is an attractive rarity, whose delicately feathered fronds are covered in a pastel shade of pink. What makes it particularly decorative is its ability to shimmer blue under certain light conditions, an unusual characteristic known in the plant world as iridescence.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that corresponds to the product photos in terms of size, shape and coloring.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- Location/light requirements: partial shade to light, but avoid direct sunlight
- Substrate: very loose, permeable substrate such as Xaxim litter or Ben's Premium Sphagnum moss
- Temperature: optimal at 22-28° C (day), 18-20° C (night)
- Watering: water moderately with low-lime, lukewarm water. Avoid complete drying out as well as waterlogging.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, place in terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: fertilize moderately every 4 weeks in spring/summer with diluted liquid fertilizer. Avoid over-fertilization at all costs.
- Avoid draughts.
- Repot after approx. 1-2 years when the substrate is sufficiently dense.
