The attractive leaves of this Cordyline look like narrow swords in deep purple to black, making it a popular collector's item for lovers of dark plants. Even though it is known as the club lily and resembles palm plants, it belongs neither to the palm family nor to the lily family, but to the agave family. It is not particularly demanding to care for and is therefore also suitable for beginners.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that corresponds to the product photos in terms of size, shape and color.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- Location/light requirements: Partly shaded to bright, avoid direct sunlight
- Substrate: well-drained substrate mixture of high-quality potting soil, peat and sand
- Temperature: optimal at 18-20° C (day), 15-17° C (night)
- Watering: in spring/summer, water approx. once a week when the top layer of substrate begins to dry, using lukewarm water with little lime, but avoid waterlogging. Water less frequently in fall/winter.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, spray regularly (but leaves should be allowed to dry afterwards!) or use a humidifier
- Addition of nutrients: In spring, fertilize moderately every 2 weeks with diluted organ. Liquid fertilizer moderately
- Dead leaves should be removed regularly.
- Wipe the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth.
