Because the cream-colored petals of this delicate Dendrobium are as fine as a membrane, it is also known as The Membranous Dendrobium. Even if the color of its flowers is rather subtle, they still impress with the lovely fragrance they exude. In the wild, this Dendrobium grows as an epiphyte in a hot and humid environment, which should be taken into account when caring for it.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Location/light requirements: partial shade to light, avoid direct sunlight
- Substrate: tied to Xaxim or in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 30-34° C (day), 21-24° C (night)
- Watering: Spray regularly when tied up, but allow the plant to dry out well. Otherwise water 1-2 times a week when the upper substrate layers begin to dry. Only use lukewarm water with a low lime content. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, use a humidifier or place it in the terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: Only fertilize moderately every 1-2 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer during the growth period.
- Keeping it slightly drier and cooler in winter promotes flower production in spring.
