This larger dendrobium impresses especially with its extraordinary, up to 13cm large, cream-colored flowers with their purple center. With good care it produces these flowers from the end of winter until spring. It can reach a impressive size and therefore can be kept in indoor culture or larger terrariums.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Habitat/Light requirements: partial shade, avoid direct sunlight.
- Substrate: in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 18-23° C (day), 17-19° C (night)
- Watering: water 1-2 a week when the upper substrate layers begin to dry. Use only lukewarm water with low lime content. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: needs high humidity, use humidifier or place in terrarium.
- Nutrient addition: fertilize moderately every 4 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer only during the growing season.
- Keeping slightly drier in winter will encourage flower production.
