Beautiful alocasia with a special leaf shape. The name Stingray was chosen because the leaf imitates a shape like a ray. It likes it moist but not wet and warm temperatures. On the windowsill the plant should be placed in partial shade. You will receive a plant in a 5.5cm pot.

Stingray is the English name for the ray and that explains the nickname of this unique Alocasia, because its leaves have the exact shape of this cartilaginous fish, which makes the plant unique among the Alocasia species. It thrives particularly well in partially shaded locations and is a real must-have for collectors of unusual plants.

Ben's care tips:

• Location/Light Requirements: Partial shade or indirect sunlight
• Substrate: Ben's Babyplant Soil, special soil, later peat-free potting soil, Ben's Syngonium & Alocasia Soil
• Temperature: optimal at 27° C (day), 16° C (night)
• Watering: keep moist and water as soon as the top layer of soil begins to dry, but avoid waterlogging
• Humidity: needs high humidity, place in bathroom or use humidifier
• Nutrient addition: in spring/summer every 4-8 weeks with organ. Fertilize moderately with liquid fertilizer
• Repot when the plant is firmly rooted.
• It is essential to avoid waterlogging, otherwise the roots of the plant can rot.
