A rare begonia species that has an exceptionally beautiful leaf pattern. It should be kept humid - warm at temperatures from 23 to 26°C. In the terrarium it should be allowed to dry in the evening and not stand directly in the wet. A very beautiful species which is suitable for terrariums from 50cm. It can also be cultivated on the windowsill.

This begonia species is a delicate beauty that is also very rare to find. The Cleopatra impresses not only with its contrasting leaves but also with its delicate pink flowers. It comes from the Philippine island of Palawan and is suitable for terrariums due to its compact growth, but can also be cultivated on the windowsill.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- Location/Light Requirements: Partial shade, indirect sunlight
- Substrate: green plant soil, mineral, ensure good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 23-26° C
- Watering: water as soon as the upper substrate layers begin to dry, but avoid waterlogging at all costs, ideally water with lukewarm, low-calcium rainwater
- Humidity: needs high humidity, place in terrarium or use humidifier
- Nutrient addition: during the growth phase, fertilise every 4 weeks with organic liquid fertiliser. Fertilise every week with organic liquid fertiliser
- Repot, only when the soil is densely rooted (approx. 1x per year). Be careful not to damage the roots.
