This beautiful Maranta rarity is very popular among plant collectors as it is not found everywhere and has attractive leaf markings. Its deep green leaves are divided by light cream stripes while the midvein is bordered by lime green spots. The fact that the Maranta is not too demanding when it comes to care makes it all the more attractive.
• Delivery: You will receive a scion with 2-3 leaves. We recommend rooting the plant in water.

Ben's care tips:

• We recommend rooting the plant in water. Then it can be potted in the soil recommended under the point substrate.
• Location/light requirements: semi-shade
• Substrate: Good soil for green plants with some humus and nutrients
• Temperature: optimal at 23-25°C (day), 20°C (night), do not allow to cool below 15°C
• Watering: water approx. once a week as soon as the top layer of substrate begins to dry, less frequently in winter, avoid waterlogging at all costs, ideally water with lukewarm, lime-free rainwater
• Humidity: needs high humidity, place in terrarium or bath or use humidifier
• Nutrient addition: moderately every 4-6 weeks in spring/summer with diluted organ. Fertilize with liquid fertilizer
• Repot about every 2 years when the plant is properly rooted. Be sure to cut away dried or rotten roots.
• In winter, the plant can be a little cooler (but not below 15° C), watered less often and does not need any fertilizer during this time.
